acceptthetool/equipment’splug.Repairorreplacedamagedorworncordsimmediately.

5. CAUTION:Inallcases,makecertaintheoutletisproperlygrounded.Ifyouarenotsureifitis,have

alicensedelectricianchecktheoutlet.

WARNING:Thistool/equipmentisforindooruseonly.Donotexposetorainorusein

damplocations.

1. Tools/equipmentwiththreewiregroundingplugs(Fig.1,A)areintendedforuseonacircuitthathas

anoutletthatlooksliketheoneillustrated(Fig.1,B).

2. Atemporaryadapter(Fig.1,B&C)maybeusedtoconnectthisplugtoa2-polereceptacle

(Fig.1,B)ifaproperlygroundedoutletisnotavailable.

3. Thetemporaryadaptershouldbeusedonlyuntilaproperlygroundedoutletcanbeinstalledbya

qualiedelectrician.

4. Thegreencoloredrigidear,lug,etc.extendingfromtheadaptermustbeconnectedtoa

permanentgroundsuchasaproperlygroundedoutletbox(Fig.1,D).


